Parking:

In addition to metered street parking, there are two parking garages within a block from my building:  1) Between 3rd and 4th Avenues with entrances on SW Alder Street and SW Morrison Street, $1.75 per hour for the first four hours, and 2) Between 3rd and 4th Avenues with entrances on SW Alder Street and SW Washington Street, $1.75 per hour for the first four hours.  

Public Transportation:

MAX from the west: the Mall/4th Ave. stop is 0.2 miles from my office.  
MAX from the east: the Mall/5th Ave. stop is 0.1 miles from my office.
